Helicopter flight schools and instruction.
Helipan Corporation is Panama's only certified
helicopter flight school, and since 1994 Panama
and Costa Rica's sole authorized sales and
service representative for Robinson Helicopters.
With a total of 19 full time employees, Helipan
Corp. has over the last 7 years developed
into Panama's largest and most successful
helicopter outfit. Four full time pilots and
4 part-time (standby) pilots manage a fleet
of 10 helicopters that include several of
Robinson's R22 & R44 models, in addition to
one Eurocopter EC-120 Colibri.
Helipan Corp.'s first few years were dedicated
to providing maintainance and service to offshore
tuna fishing companies, who utilize helicopters
on their boats to help spot and set nets.
To this day Helipan Corp. is a leader in this
field, supplying helicopters, pilots, and
mechanics to various tuna boats in the Central
American region. In 1995 we began offering
top quality helicopter flight training, and
have successfully licensed many of Panama's
top helicopter pilots. We offer a variety
of courses, with flexible training schedules,
ranging from private pilot to instructor pilot
licenses. And for those interested, numerous
specialty courses are also available including
tuna boat training, turbine transition, and
mountain checkout. In addition to instructional
courses, we also provide a wealth of commercial
and corporate services in order to fulfill
the demanding needs of Panama's public and
private sectors. Our clients include government
officials, news channels, and numerous private
sector entities, some of which are among the
country's most prestigious companies. Panama's
