THIRTY MINUTE PANAMA CITY TOUR
The Panama City Tour is offered throughout the day. Due to the fact that we are required by law to take off and land at a lit airfield, we must return to the Airport regardless of our departure point. (In the event that your hotel has a helicopter pad, we could theoretically depart from your hotel, but we would have to return to the airport in order to comply with local procedures)

helicopter tours panama country of panamaPanama City, undoubtedly Central America’s most modern and cosmopolitan city, can be readily seen with just a short helicopter flight from neighboring Albrook Airport. Just on the outskirts of downtown Panama, your flight will take you over the city’s most popular tourist destinations, as well within easy view of the country’s famous banking district, which currently contains over 100 banks.

Upon liftoff, your flight path takes you along the right side of the Canal to the midway point between Miraflores and Pedro Miguel Locks, towards the Bahai Temple. Flying at approximately 1,000 ft. we'll turn towards Costa del Este, which is just east of Panama Viejo. Then, we'll fly towards the coast and Punta Paitilla, rounding the point passing Balboa Statue, which is located on Ave. Balboa, and on towards Ancon Hill. Ave. Balboa, overlooking the Bay of Panama, is home to numerous restaurants, banks, insurance companies, hotels and Punta Paitilla, one of the city’s most expensive and luxurious residential areas. Along Ave. Balboa, half way up Ancon Hill, we turn towards the Causeway, and if time permits we'll continue out to the three islands that are connected by the Causeway: Perico, Naos and Flamenco, which is the island furthest out. After circling the islands, our trip takes us straight back, passing the bridge and Panama Canal Commission building before reaching the airport.

If the tour requires that we pick up passengers in hotels rather than depart directly from the airport, the tour will be shorter. Additional time is required in order to ferry passengers to and from hotels, which reduces the amount of time we have for flying. In this case, we'll turn just past the Miraflores Locks and head straight to Panama Viejo. Also, we will not quite reach the three little islands situated out beyond the causeway.
